About

STARS Logo with tagline

STARS believes all young people thrive when they have hope,  health, and connection.

Because our services are school- and community based, we are committed to providing equitable access to mental health care.

Since 1984, our services have had proven and lasting results including: strengthened youth resistance, increased refusal and decision-making skills related to alcohol, drugs, sexual activity and violence; increased school attachment; increased positive orientation to his/her own future; and have promoted youth involvement in their community.

Youth served by STARS, by finding their voice as they grow into contributing, confident adults and community leaders, have better self-awareness, self-confidence and better understand the importance of personal safety and accountability.

Our programs and services include:

  • SAP
  • KOTB
  • M2S
  • DAHOH
  • YODA
  • ESAP
