The Charity Tour of Homes wrapped up its 2012 tour by presenting checks to their two benefiting nonprofits, Students Taking A Right Stand (STARS) and Miriam’s Promise. Tour chairman Bryan Edwards, president of Hughes-Edwards Builders, and Ben Talbot, general manager of Pella Windows & Doors, the tour title sponsor, presented to STARS Development Director Erin Daunic a check for $6,579 as well as to Miriam’s Promise.
Edwards said, “the Charity Tour of Homes interviewed nonprofit organizations throughout the Middle Tennessee area and chose STARS and Miriam’s Promise as the 2012 benefiting organizations highlighting the latest in home building and design while giving back to our community through these worthy nonprofits. We are very proud to have donated more money to local nonprofits than any other premiere home tour in Middle Tennessee.”
The tour is presented every 18 months by the Master Custom Builders Council of Tennessee, an elite group of the finest custom-home builders in the mid-state sharing a deep passion for their craft and for providing their clients the finest in custom, residential construction at substantial discounts if they participate in the premier home tour.
