INTERVENTION
Since 1984, STARS has served some of our most disenfranchised populations by providing school-based intervention services for struggling adolescents.
Our Student Assistance Program provides support and mental health counseling services to address the social and emotional needs of students who are dealing with such issues as substance abuse, violence and bullying.
School-Based Counseling (SAP)
School-Based Therapy (ESAP)
The STARS Enhanced School Assistance Program (ESAP) provides in-school mental health treatment and addresses issues like depression, anxiety and family conflicts through individual therapy, school-based plans, and group and family interventions.
