JOIN THE TEAM

Are you ready to help provide Hope, Health and Connection? Join our team to help young people pursue their unlimited potential.

POWER Youth

In partnership with the Metro Action Commission of Davidson County and STARS, the POWER Youth program, previously known as Opportunity NOW, provides career exploration and work experience activities for youth 14 to 24 years old. The name POWER Youth was selected by the peer youth leadership team based on how they view themselves and their future.

Mental Health Counselor
The STARS Mental Health Counselor will be responsible for directing and assisting in the implementation of all program components of the Student Assistance Model in the school(s) assigned to them.
Mental Health Therapist

The STARS Mental Health Therapist will be responsible for providing school-based individual therapy and related clinical services for students in their assigned schools. In cases in which schools are closed temporarily due to health concerns (as was the case with the Covid-19 Pandemic) these services may be provided remotely via telehealth.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Counselor
The Deaf and Hard of Hearing Counselor will be responsible for ensuring seamless program delivery, quality management and evaluation of DHH programs and services.

STARS is deeply committed to creating a culture and work space that centers on the power of relationships, that values diversity of perspective and experience, and that honors the dignity, worth, and contributions of all.
