Farm to Table(aux)

On Oct. 3, STARS celebrated a beautiful evening that embodied our greatest values – hope, health, connection and compassion – at Farm to Table(aux). This event was the first of its kind in Nashville, combining stunning “tableaux vivants” (living pictures) inspired by the work of artist Peter Max with a delicious farm-to-table dining experience.

Thanks to the generosity and benevolence of the Nashville community, we raised over $200,000 to support young people throughout Middle Tennessee.

We had a lot of fun doing it, too. From gravity-defying circus acts to tasting stations and artful auctions, Farm to Table(aux) showcased the vibrancy and creativity of all that is Nashville.

At this year’s event, we presented the Troy Gentry Compassion Award in memory of the late musician Troy Gentry, who was an enthusiastic advocate of STARS and devoted much of his time and energy to helping others. Angie Gentry presented the 2023 award to actor and musician Charles Esten, who took to the stage to perform a song after receiving the award.

Thank you to our sponsors, beverage and culinary partners, and the amazing people who contributed to our “tableaux vivants.” Huge thanks also go to our incredible event committee, without whom this night would not have been possible.
