Teams are still being accepted for the 19th annual Hart Golf Classic set for a 1 p.m. shotgun start on Monday, June 13 at The Golf Club of Tennessee, in Kingston Springs, TN.
Renamed last year in honor of long-time Students Taking A Right Stand (STARS) supporters and community volunteers extraordinaire Rodes and Patricia Hart, a super-team of volunteers, headed up by event co-chairs Cooper Jones and Parks Owens, are putting together a day of stellar golf benefiting the program operations for STARS. We so appreciate our honorary chairs Rodes and Patricia Hart, Barry Moody and Ron Samuels.
An exciting addition is the live on-site broadcast of 104.5 The Zone’s “All State Sports Zone” with George Plaster and Willy Daunic which will include coverage of our putting competition.
The putting contest is sponsored by Two Rivers Ford (www.tworiversford.com) and the winner this year will earn a round of golf at the Honors Course with celebrity guest player Tony Barnhart.
Take “Hart” in knowing that this day is so much more than a day of golf and networking. Participants are helping STARS impact the lives of Middle Tennessee students fighting tough social and emotional barriers to learning.
