Talk it Out (2nd Grade)

By giving the audience a chance to help the Kids on the Block characters, the children are empowered with the opportunity to talk about how to deal with difficult feelings and learn strategies to stay calm in overwhelming, stressful situations that occur in everyday life. It teaches a simple technique to remain grounded and present so they can be encouraged to deal with negative emotions effectively and stay connected to others during these times.

STARS is deeply committed to creating a culture and work space that centers on the power of relationships, that values diversity of perspective and experience, and that honors the dignity, worth, and contributions of all.
