Bob Wankel has been with STARS since January 2023 and his main responsibilities are payroll and accounts payable. He is originally from Orlando and he graduated from Trevecca University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration. He has experience in distribution, manufacturing, home health and government contractors; but STARS is his first time working for a nonprofit. He is married to Julie, a sixth grade math teacher, and has two grown children, Ben and Lauren, and a son in-law, Eric – and two granddawgs, Willow and Indy. He and Ben suffer from a love for old cars, including a ’41 Chevy, a ’54 Mercury and a ’65 Ford.
