Grosser

Grants and Events Manager

Anna Grosser serves as the Grants and Events Manager for STARS Nashville. She grew up in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, along with her parents and two younger brothers. She credits her family for her competitive side, but also for teaching her the value of extending grace to all (unless they’re your opponent in card games). After graduating from Salem College in Winston-Salem, NC, she moved to Nashville and began her career in nonprofit fundraising at Mercy Community Healthcare (MCH). Following her tenure at MCH, she joined the fundraising team at Nurture the Next (NTN), a nonprofit devoted to empowering parents to create strong, healthy futures for their babies. It was through her experiences at MCH and NTN that she developed a passion for helping individuals during their most crucial years of development, childhood.

Anna is grateful to be a part of the STARS team and contribute to the mission of bringing hope, health, and connection to young people across Middle Tennessee through her fundraising efforts. She is proud to call Nashville home along with her husband, Joel, and sweet puppy, Roxy. Outside of work, you can find Anna outside hiking, enjoying the Nashville food scene, creating art, or exercising her competitive spirit through cards or sports!

STARS is deeply committed to creating a culture and work space that centers on the power of relationships, that values diversity of perspective and experience, and that honors the dignity, worth, and contributions of all.
